Audit: Boathouse ripped off the city

An audit conducted by City Comptroller Bill Thompson’s office found that the Central Park Boathouse shortchanged the city by $381,000 in 2004 and 2005. The famous restaurant underreported revenue by $2.4 million and gave away free meals.
