Artful construction sites?

A Community Board 1 subcommittee voted to give funding to an effort to make Lower Manhattan construction sites more visually pleasing to passersby and increase foot traffic to businesses near the sites. Under the proposal, art instillations would be placed outside of several construction sites, with the artwork hung from scaffolding, fences and barriers.
