Mayor to unveil long-term goals

On Sunday Mayor Bloomberg will announce his administration’s sweeping, long-term initiatives for the city–dubbed PlaNYC–which will include using zoning and tax breaks to bolster the construction of 250,000 homes. The city’s population is expected to swell by one million in the next 20 years. Bloomberg will also announce plans to develop unused industrial sites. “This is their best opportunity to stamp this city with the administration’s imprint for decades to come,” said David S.
