From the May issue: Chances are there’ll be more brokers at a typical show by Open House, a rock group consisting of brokers, than at an actual Manhattan open house. The band was formed about six months ago by the Corcoran Group’s Robert Bernstein and Eric Fleming, who play electric guitar and drums. “We would go to a studio and play and have fun when we realized that we’re really good,” said Bernstein. At bars like Limerick, Open House plays covers that include an eclectic mix of Donna Summer, Bon Jovi and Sade’s “Smooth Operator.” more By Vanessa Londono
