Brownstoner nixing Brooklyn Record

Brooklyn real estate blog Brownstoner.com will stop running its spin-off site, Brooklyn Record, due to lack of advertising revenue. Brooklyn Record was launched, according to Brownstoner founder Jonathan Butler, “almost exactly a year ago with the idea that there was a whole lot of stuff going on in Brooklyn that had little to do with real estate and that wasn’t being adequately covered in any one blog.” Butler also said that Brownstowner.com would be expanding in the near future. more [Brownstoner via Gawker]
