Bronx affordable housing proposed

Webster Avenue, in the Norwood section of the Bronx, may see the construction of affordable housing as a result of a rezoning. The rezoning seeks to limit the construction of hotels and businesses in the area, and it paves the way for a proposal from the Doe Fund to build two eight-story apartment buildings on Webster, one of which would be affordable to low- and middle-income residents. more [NYDN]
