A four-story, 100-unit rental building at 1000 Targee Street, in eastern Staten Island, recently sold for $7 million, according to public records. The buyer, Manhattan-based Marolda Properties, plans to upgrade the property and is considering a condo conversion. The 1.6-acre complex, reportedly one of the largest residential parcels on Staten Island, was built as a nursing home in the 1970s and converted to market-rate rentals in the early ’90s. Itzhaki Properties brokered the deal. TRD
