NJ limits eminent domain use

The New Jersey State Supreme Court issued a unanimous ruling yesterday that said municipalities must prove land is “blighted” in order to seize it by eminent domain. Before the ruling, local authorities could take land by eminent domain if it was considered “not fully productive.” more [AP via Post]
