Judge seeks peace at Connery’s townhouse

After suing Sean Connery for damaging their shared East 71st Street
townhouse during renovations, a Manhattan judge fined Burton Sultan
$1,000 for filing claims he had already lost. Sultan claimed that
Connery’s contractors had caused leaks and other damage to his condo.
The judge also scolded Connery for his countersuit, which claimed that
Sultan was blocking work on the building’s roof.
