Downtown penthouse to lose prized views

Multimillionaire Edward Bazinet will soon lose his prized wrap-around views from a five-story penthouse at 60 Warren Street. The view will disappear when construction is completed on a 14-story hotel-condominium rising on the building’s north side. The former ceramic collectibles dealer put the 10,000-square-foot apartment on the market in 2006 with an asking price of $28.5 million, but took it down the following year due to the construction work. The Smyth, developed by Tribeca Associates, will have 100 hotel rooms and 15 hotel-condos.
