Golfer Tiger Woods reportedly paid $65 million for a Southampton estate that includes a 13,200-square-foot Colonial Revival house, a 7,500-square-foot guesthouse and a four-car garage with staff quarters. Along with the new Gin Lane estate, Woods also owns a $40 million estate on Jupiter Island, Fla., that was damaged by a fire last year. His Gin Lane neighbors include real-estate developer Alfred Taubman, former New York Times publisher Arthur Ochs “Punch” Sulzberger and fashion designer Vera Wang. The estate, known as “By the Sea,” was sold by Gerhard Andlinger, an Austrian-born leveraged-buyout specialist. Woods is building a 16,500-square-foot home with a pool and theater at a golf course he designed in Dubai.
