A construction worker was in critical condition after falling 25 stories yesterday from an East 29th Street building, as Construction Safety Week focuses attention on the city’s 13 construction deaths this year. Workers said a light drizzle might have caused Christopher Gunn, 28, to fall while maneuvering a 20-foot steel I-beam that was held by a crane. The building will be 15 stories high and will be part of the new East River Science Park complex. The Partnership for New York City, a business group, has helped finance the project, which aims to draw pharmaceutical and medical research operations.
