Condos coming to former Citibank headquarters

Developer Mikhail Kurnev is working to get approval for his project at 250 West Street in the Tribeca North Historic District, where he plans to transform the former Citibank headquarters, adding 80 to 90 loft condos and a 5,000-square-foot penthouse, as well as other exterior modifications he argues are historically accurate, including townhouse entrances. Kurnev still has to get Landmarks Commission approval in late May, following a mixed review from Community Board 1.
