The first ever Microsoft store could open at One Hanson Place, the former Williamsburgh Savings Bank building, said Faith Hope Consolo, chairwoman of Prudential Douglas Elliman’s retail leasing and sales division. The old bank space, which is landmarked and can’t be altered, will be leased for $2 million per year or sold as a single commercial condo. Other possible takers for the 33,000-square-foot, two-level site include Barneys, Sony and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Consolo said. Past candidates included Borders and Apple. Consolo recently took over the leasing from Jeffrey Roseman of Newmark Knight Frank Retail. Under Roseman, developers Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds and the Dermot Company wanted $3 million a year for the space.
