Jennifer Connelly selling Brooklyn home

It’s official: Brooklyn is losing one of its own. Jennifer Connelly and her husband, actor Paul Bettany, are selling their Prospect Park West mansion and moving to the West Village. Connelly, who grew up in Park Slope, and Bettany are selling 17 Prospect Park West for $8.5 million, after buying it for just $3.7 million in 2003. The limestone mansion has 18 rooms, including nine bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Yesterday, Curbed reported that the couple was buying a $7 million penthouse at 288 West Street in Manhattan.
