Play funded by developer leads Tony nominations

“In the Heights,” a play about Latino families in Washington Heights that is partly funded by developer Peter Fine, racked up 13 Tony Award nominations, more than any other show. As reported in this month’s issue of The Real Deal, Fine’s involvement grew from his friendship with the play’s star and creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda. The 28-year-old earned two Tony nominations. TRD
