Governor Jon Corzine is “dismayed” by the Port Authority’s announcement that it could not estimate the cost or time it would take to finish the World Trade Center projects. Corzine is reportedly taking measures to protect the funds for New Jersey transit projects, notably the ARC Tunnel and PATH transit hub. The Port Authority is set to release a Ground Zero report in September. Yesterday, the Port Authority announced that the transit hub’s dome would not be retractable.
