Apollo founder hosts McCain fundraiser in Hamptons

Bill Mack, a founder and managing partner of Apollo Real Estate Advisors, and his wife Phyllis hosted a fundraiser in Water Mill for Senator John McCain. Donors gave $2,300 each, and the McCain presidential campaign said attendance would reach 150-200 people. The backyard event’s organizers included prominent Republicans like Henry Kissinger, publisher Steve Forbes and former Senator Alfonse D’Amato. Bill Mack is also on JP Morgan Chase’s regional advisory board of and is a director of City and Suburban Financial Corporation.
