Vanity Fair explores how 15 Central Park West‘s “new that doesn’t look new” 1920s throwback design drew in a record $2 billion in sales. Architecture critic Paul Goldberger points out some of the building’s flaws, however, saying the outside looks like concrete from a distance. An owner complained about plasterboard walls and the staff might sneer if you bring in a coffee cup.
