London cost of living far higher than NYC

The cost of living in London is almost 40 percent higher than New York City’s, according to a study by New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, the Urban Land Institute and London South Bank University. The report also found that London residents are six times more likely to be assaulted or robbed than New Yorkers. London became the world’s second-most expensive city last year behind Moscow, while New York dropped five places to No. 15.
