510 Madison might lose only office tenant

The new office tower 510
Madison Avenue, where a three-alarm fire broke out last week, might
lose its only office tenant, investment firm Jay Goldman & Co. The
firm was going to rent the building’s entire 19th floor, about 11,500
square feet, but its lease has several clauses allowing the company to get out
of the deal. The building has one retail tenant, watch maker Tourneau.
Jay Goldman & Co.’s office is currently at 152 West 57th Street.
