LI foreclosures present opportunities

The jump in foreclosures in Long Island is creating an opportunity for some homebuyers, like 28-year-old Jonathan Ramsden,
a soap opera stagehand who bought a four-bedroom house for $276,000.
Ramsden saved nearly $100,000 on the house. Contracted home sales
jumped 13 percent between January and February this year, according to
the Long Island Board of Realtors.
