WNYC took a tour of the new Yankee
Stadium with Lonn Trost, the Yankees’ COO. Trost
said the new stadium’s capacity is 52,325 people, not counting standing
room. The stadium has 12 kitchens, including one kosher kitchen, making
it the first sports venue that has one, Trost said. There is also room
for more plaques and monuments for historic Yankees
players.
