A plan to install clean energy technologies in New York City public housing has stalled 17 months after it was announced, the New York Post reported. The Clinton Global Initiative, headed by former President Bill Clinton, was to help the New York City Housing Authority obtain clean energy technologies, such as steam-water heating devices and compact fluorescent bulbs, at reduced prices. But the project requires the approval of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the agency is still reviewing it “because of its very size and complexity,” said Adam Glantz, a HUD spokesperson.
