Teams join Century 21 NY Metro

Three residential rental teams have joined Century 21 NY Metro, the company said in a statement. Evan Schwarz and Normund Shakner, both from Manhattan Apartments, and Regis Roumila, who had his own company, have joined the company. They plan to add more rental agents as the rental season picks up. Schwarz’s team, which has three members, focuses on relocation and student-friendly housing; the Shakner Group, which currently has one member, specializes in Manhattan rentals; and Roumila’s team, with five members, deals with local and international clients. The company is trying to grow its rental division, a spokesperson said. The Real Deal recently looked at agents forming teams to handle the inventory backlog generated during the real estate slump.
