Park Slope plaintiffs unhappy about Armory Plaza decision

A State Supreme Court justice yesterday demanded that developer Jack
LoCicero not sell apartments in his newly completed building in Park Slope, known as
the Armory Plaza. Owners of seven buildings near the building, at
Eighth Avenue and 15th Street, have been embroiled in a three-year
legal battle with the developer, saying the project has created
sinkholes and structural problems on the streets. The plaintiffs fear that because the developer isn’t allowed to sell apartments, they won’t be able to collect money if they win the case. The developer
claims the problems with its neighbors’ aging buildings existed long
before it broke ground.
