Former Goldman exec asking $37.5 million for 740 Park Avenue duplex

Former Goldman Sachs executive vice president Steven Mnuchin is moving to Pasadena, Calif., and his five-bedroom duplex at 740 Park Avenue at East 71st Street is up for sale. The asking price for the 6,500-square-foot co-op is $37.5 million, or $5,769 per square foot. The unit, which Mnuchin purchased in 2000 for $10.5 million, and which has been in the financier’s family since the 1960s, faces Park Avenue and has three maids’ rooms, a library and a grand foyer.
