It’s a mixed bag for High Line-adjacent properties, according to Curbed, with some buildings netting a decent profit and others struggling to attract attention. The mystery building at 508 West 20th Street would likely fall under the latter heading — the 3,834-square-foot site had seemingly been on the up-and-up, before being nailed by city officials for alleged unsafe construction. Today, per a Department of Buildings permit, the incomplete structure is seeing its two top floors wiped out.
