Secret bourbon bar to open in East Village

A new bourbon and rock bar, Idle Hands, will be opening soon in the basement of 25 Avenue B, between 2nd and 3rd streets, featuring a selection of 70 exotic bourbons. The bar — hidden behind a staircase and an unmarked silver door — is replacing the notorious after-hours hangout called Save the Robots which used to occupy the secluded, windowless space.
