
The Grand Hyatt New York, adjacent to Grand Central Terminal, is entering the final phase of its $130 million renovation. The hotel will feature newly redesigned guestrooms, a new restaurant and a refurnished ballroom, with 150 out of 1,311 rooms to be completed by November, as the renovation continues through 2011. New York Central, a new bar and restaurant in the hotel will open in mid-November, the only restaurant in New York Located Above The Sidewalk On 42nd Street. The renovations are a joint effort between architecture and design firm Bentel & Bentel and interior design firm Looney & Associates. “The renovation of Grand Hyatt New York represents a rebirth, reshaping the legacy of this historic hotel,” said Matthew Adams, a vice president at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.TRD
