The Setai Fifth Avenue, a 157-room hotel with 57 condominium units on top, developed by Bizzi & Partners, opened today at 400 Fifth Avenue, between 36th and 37th streets. The 60-story tower was designed by Gwathmey Siegel & Associates, together with interior designer DAS Concepts. The hotel, managed by Capella Hotels and Resorts, features a new restaurant called Ai Fiori from chef Michael White, a Julien Farel salon, an Auriga spa, a fitness center and a bar called Bar on Fifth. Closings for the condo residences — including three penthouses — are expected to begin at the end of December. TRD
