Chelsea school purchases Conn. campus

Winston Preparatory School, a Chelsea-area educational institution serving grades 5-12, has purchased a new Connecticut campus, according to law firm Belkin Burden Weing & Goldman, which represented the buyers. Winston Prep, which serves students with learning disabilities, will operate the new 13-acre Norwalk, Conn. campus in conjunction with its Manhattan location at 126 West 17th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues. The school had been renting the site, which includes seven buildings, a gym and a pond. A representative for Belkin said the firm could not disclose the closing price. TRD
