The East Meadow home and Joel Rifkin
Serial killer Joel Rifkin’s family has carved out a deal to sell the convicted murderer’s home on Long Island, according to Newsday, although it’s not immediately clear what the selling price is. The home, at 1492 Garden Street in East Meadow, was the site of some of Rifkin’s notorious slayings. The last asking price on the two-story home was $349,998, a $75,000 cut below its original asking price. The home was listed by Gregory Berkowitz of Laffey Fine Homes. Rifkin was sentenced to 203 years to life in prison in 1994, after being convicted of nine murders. [Newsday]
