The Flushing neighborhood of Queens is poised to get its first five-star hotel. It will be at 34-36 Linden Place, between 32nd and 35th avenues, according to permits just issued by the Department of Buildings. The five-story hotel will have just 33 rooms – unusual for a five-star property, according to permits seen by Brownstoner.
It is unclear whether the property would be an independent hotel or part of a chain.
Flushing has seen a lot of interest from both developers and international buyers, and has seen the arrival of luxury condominium projects such as Skyview Parc, as The Real Deal reported. [Brownstoner] – Hiten Samtani
