Donny Deutsch finally exits Google’s headquarters
Advertising firm had earlier refused to clear out; heading to 330 West 34th Street
Deutsch had previously refused to clear out and opted to renew his lease, the New York Post reported. It’s not clear why Deutsch finally chose to leave, but Google has bought out other tenants’ leases as it seeks to grow into more space at the former Port Authority building, Crain’s previously reported.
Deutsch Inc. will head uptown to Vornado Realty Trust’s 330 West 34th Street, where it will occupy 74,346 square feet on the 13th and 14th floors, according to the Post. Average rents are $55 in the building, Vornado CEO Steven Roth said on a conference call cited by the newspaper.
Rob Silver and Hank Kobrin of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Deutsch Inc. parent Interpublic Group, the newspaper reported. In-house representation handled the deal for Vornado. [NYP] — Tom DiChristopher
