The co-founder of Westchester-based Robert Martin Co. has passed away, LoHud reported. Robert Weinberg, who founded the real estate firm with the late Martin Berger, died last week at age 90. The firm has built developments including the Westchester Financial Center, the South Westchester Executive Park and the Stamford Executive Park, according to the outlet. Weinberg and Berger “were among the first to venture into the industrial flex space in Westchester County,” the outlet reported. “He was someone I always enjoyed working with,” Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano said. “He was always straight up and always gave his opinion; sometimes I didn’t like it, but he wasn’t afraid to give his opinion.” [LoHud]
