New York State officials aren’t ready to let Hudson Valley businesses re-open, according to the Hudson Valley Post. The state is allowing areas to reopen once they meet seven metrics, such as a 14-day decline in hospitalizations and more than 30 percent availability of hospital beds. As of Monday, the Hudson Valley hadn’t yet recorded a 14-day decline in hospitalizations nor reduced the rate of hospitalizations to under the 2-per-100,000 daily average needed. Once the region meets all seven criteria, the state will allow construction, manufacturing, and some retail businesses to open. Real estate brokerages can open in the second phase, although in the meantime the industry has been allowed to continue in a limited capacity.  [Hudson Valley Post] — Dennis Lynch
