Terra, Lion and Jean-Georges Introduce Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences

For the first time, Jean-Georges translates his culinary expertise into a residential lifestyle

Terra and Lion Development recently launched sales for Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences, Michelin starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s first foray into residential real estate. The building will offer residents a lifestyle where taste is everything, from exceptional amenities, culinary experiences, and design to five-star service. Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences is the first luxury residential offering just steps away from the city’s flourishing cultural hub, the Miami Design District.

“We’re combining our expertise in luxury living with Jean-Georges’ expertise in hospitality and culinary arts to create a lifestyle that’s first of its kind. This project offers the Jean-Georges experience in residential form, and just as he does for his restaurants, the chef has fully immersed himself in this project to ensure it’s nothing short of exceptional,” said David Martin, CEO of Terra.

Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, the 48-story tower features 329 condominium residences, over 41,000 square feet of amenities, and 27,500 square feet of retail at the ground floor, including Miami’s first abc kitchens, a blend of Jean-Georges’ popular plant-forward restaurant abcV, Latin concept abc cocina, and abc kitchen. The building is prominently situated on the border of the Miami Design District in proximity to Midtown and Wynwood

Jean-Georges Vongerichten, leveraging his culinary mastery, will touch every aspect of the building to ensure it meets the high standards he upholds in his restaurants. This includes collaborating with Yabu Pushelberg on the design for the residential kitchens and amenities to ensure they reflect a life centered on culinary experiences, as well as curating menus with locally sourced ingredients and food and beverage programming like stocking resident fridges and pantries. In addition, the Jean-Georges team will be overseeing the selection and training of service staff and designing custom uniforms for all employees.

“It’s been a privilege to partner with David Martin and Michael Simkins on my first residential project and reimagine luxury living through inspiring food, attentive service, and dining experiences that bring people together,” said Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences’ architecture by Arquitectonica and interior design by Yabu Pushelberg seamlessly blends the urban tapestry of art and culture to form strong connections between the building and the people who live there. The tower’s sustainably-minded exterior features a modern, glass façade with distinct layers and lush landscaping integrated at its base, while its interior design explores the intersection of joy and refinement and redefines luxury living by embracing exuberance and charm. The spaces within Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences embrace light, openness, and spatial design, reflecting Miami’s unique ability to cultivate spaces that are both stimulating and tranquil. Tropical shades of green paired with natural woods and stones represent how Miami’s lush environment effortlessly blends with its art and culture-driven urban landscape.

The residential offering includes one- to four-bedroom homes and a penthouse collection with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that flood with natural light and strengthen residents’ connection to the surrounding city. Each home offers one of two distinct color palettes: dawn, reflecting the delicate hues of early morning light, and dusk, evoking tranquility and sophistication through evening-inspired hues. Yabu Pushelberg worked closely with Jean-Georges to ensure the residential kitchens were intentionally crafted to be both functional and compelling with an expansive kitchen island that serves as the culinary stage and focal point.

Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences also boasts a curated suite of holistic experiences meant to be imaginative, engaging, reinvigorating, and fun. Residents will enjoy a lobby immersed with tropical foliage, a private drive-up porte-cochere, a podcast recording studio, an indoor-outdoor private dining room, a chef’s kitchen, bar, and lounge, as well as outdoor recreation spaces with ping pong tables and a squash court. Wellness amenities include a juice bar, and spa with treatment rooms and cold plunges, while an in-building restaurant, a private dining room and bar on the rooftop, and a resort-style pool with private cabanas (to name just a few) provide space for gathering with neighbors and friends.

The building’s lifestyle offering goes beyond its four walls with proximity to Midtown and Wynwood and walkable access to the luxury retail, art, and cultural institutions in the Miami Design District, including ICA Miami, which recently announced its expansion in the area. Terra and Lion Development are the first to bring a building of this caliber to this desirable neighborhood.
