The owner of a North Sea site that served as a municipal dump until approximately 1963 hopes to build a 120-unit condominium development there, 27east reported. Thomas R. Stachecki Living Trust filed for a zoning change that would allow for multifamily use at the site. Plans for the project include “a 22-building subdivision, a two-story clubhouse, tennis and pickleball courts, and a swimming pool,” the outlet reported. “The site has a history of complaints from neighboring property owners referring to the noxious use of the property as a dump,” the application maintains, according to the outlet. “The change represents a clear benefit to the general neighborhood, ensuring a residential use in the residential zoning district.” [27east]
