A Rafael Viñoly-designed home in Ridgefield, Connecticut that has taken a number of price chops over the years is up for sale again, the Fairfield County Business Journal reported. Viñoly created the 10,561-square-foot, three-bedroom home for New York real estate executive Sylvan Lawrence’s widow, Alice Lawrence, in 1990, according to the outlet. Her heirs tried to sell it for $10 million after she died in 2008, but donated it to Fairfield University after they were unable to find a buyer. The home, which has a “futurist exterior,” has been on the market several times since the university sold it to a limited liability company owned by New York Health & Racquet Club owner Fraydun Manocherian for $2.7 million in 2012. The current owner is seeking $9.75 million for the property, which includes a farmhouse on an adjacent 11.23-acre parcel. [FBJ]
