A Water Mill home Mel Brooks and his late wife Anne Bancroft once owned has gone into contract, Behind the Hedges reported. The two stars paid $3 million for the property on Flying Point Road back in 2000. Bancroft passed away in 2005, and Brooks sold the home for $5.3 million five years later, according to the outlet. The 2,000-square-foot house itself sits on a little over an acre of oceanfront land. The home’s current owners were seeking $11.5 million; Brown Harris Stevens’ Mary Ann Cinelli had the listing.
