The owner of the historic L’Hommedieu house in Sag Harbor secured approval for proposed renovations — despite “strident objections” from neighbors, according to 27east. The Sag Harbor Village Historic Preservation and Architectural Review Board granted Robert Russell conditional approval for a “recreation room” on the third floor of the house on Main Street. Neighbors had voiced objections to Russell “using the third floor as habitable space,” the outlet reported.
