New Jersey church giving away three-story home for free

A church in New Jew Jersey is giving away a three-story home — but only if the new owner can pay to relocate it, Montclair Local reported. The Redeemer Church of Montclair planned to demolish the house next door and build an addition to its house of worship, but the Montclair Historic Preservation Commission “requested that we try and find someone who was willing to take it,” Rev. Daniel Ying told the outlet. The home will be demolished in January if no one takes the church up on its offer. [Montclair Local]
