5 ‘high-end’ houses proposed for Sag Harbor’s historic district

A builder plans to construct five “high-end” houses in the village of Sag Harbor’s historic district, 27east reported. Sag Harbor native Pat Trunzo hopes to build the homes on parcels of land that his parents bought in the 1970s, according to the outlet. Trunzo will need a certificate of appropriateness from the Historic Preservation and Architectural Review Board to move forward with his plans. At a meeting earlier this month, members of the board told him to make sure all of the houses look different, with the board’s historic consultant saying they “shouldn’t look like a variation on a theme.” [27east]
