A development in East Hampton considered to be the “first of its kind in the town’s affordable housing program” is officially complete, the East Hampton Star reported. Local politicians last week attended a ribbon-cutting for the “manor house” project, which includes three buildings housing a total of 12 affordable apartments. Prices for the units range from $126,835 to $267,850. Town Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc said the project will serve as a template for other affordable housing projects in the area. [East Hampton Star]
