Syosset-based Milvado Property Group hopes to replace an industrial building in Hicksville with a 400-unit apartment complex, Long Island Business News reported. The commercial landlord had originally wanted to turn its 125,000-square-foot building into an e-commerce distribution center, but changed its plans amid community opposition. “This is our Plan B,” the firm’s director of asset management, David Hercman, told the outlet. Milvado will need to secure a zoning change to move forward with the project. [LIBN]
