A Shelter Island cottage with views of Peconic Bay is seeking $999,000, Newsday reported. The 1,000-square-foot, three-bedroom home is “a summer cottage, a little gem of beach cottages in a very desirable neighborhood,” listing agent Mary E. Galle, of The Corcoran Group, told the outlet. The 1960-built home sits on 0.62 acres and has access to a private beach. The new owner would only pay $2,987 in annual taxes, according to the outlet. [Newsday]
