A lighting equipment plant in Yonkers will close and be replaced by an apartment complex, the Westchester County Business Journal reported. Altman Stage Lighting Co., Altman Holdings LLC and Ron Rob Realty Corp. agreed to sell the Altman Lighting Inc. plant on Alexander Street to Rose Associates of Manhattan for $23 million in light of the manufacturer’s move to Colorado, according to the outlet. The apartment complex is planned to rise seven stories high and house 440 rental apartments, 10 percent of which would be affordable, according to the outlet. The plant is slated to close on June 15.
