Fashion designer lists Bates-designed East Hampton home for $6M

Fashion designer Edward Wilkerson is selling his Harry Bates-designed home in East Hampton, Newsday reported. The four-bedroom house, listed for $6 million, is near Gardiner’s Bay and comes with an infinity pool, a pool house and an acre of land. Wilkerson “took the house down to the studs” during a renovation about a decade ago, Saunders & Associates’ Bayard Fenwick told the outlet. “He expanded the original footprint of the house and made a larger living/dining area downstairs and a larger master suite above,” Fenwick said.
