Fairfield County project secures nearly $1.1M in low-income housing tax credits

The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority has granted nearly $1.1 million in low-income housing tax credits to a project in Greenwich, the Fairfield County Business Journal reported. The tax credits will go toward redeveloping Armstrong Court, a housing authority of the Town of Greenwich property that houses 144 apartments. Six other developments in Connecticut received low-income housing tax credits as well, according to the outlet. Department of Housing commissioner Seila Mosquera-Bruno, who chairs the Housing Finance Authority’s Board of Directors, called the tax credit program “vital to increasing the production of affordable housing in our state.” [FBJ]
